Join dental hygienist Joanne Roos of Main Street Pediatric Dentistry in Tuckahoe to learn how to take care of your teeth, whether you’re new to having them or have a couple years under your belt. Every child attending will receive a goody bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, and more!

It’s Spring, and that means it’s WINDY–windy enough to fly a kite! Join writer Karen Gardner in creative fun that will lift your spirits, and take home a kite that celebrates your imagination and creativity. Decorate a kite with your own drawings and/or write a poem or words that express the joys of flying a kite. Then watch your craftiness soar when you fly your own original kite!

Writer’s Circle via ZOOM (Registration)

The Writer’s Circle is free and open to the public and offers drop-in generative sessions with timed writing, speed writing, prompts and feedback.

Comedy Open Mic (ON ZOOM) (Registration)

Following a traditional Comedy Open Mic format, comedians new and old — who want to work on new jokes, change old ones, or just experiment — sign up and get 5 min. apiece to perform via our Zoom meeting room. Started during the COVID pandemic as a means of comedy self-preservation, these monthly Zoom mics remain useful, fun, and welcoming to performers literally the world over!
All who attend will get a copy of the footage with a link to their set via unlisted YouTube link and coming to work on your act could lead to a featured 5-10 min. spot on one of our well-received Stand Up Comedy Showcases, which we hold 3-4x/year in our DFPL Community Room (sits 75).
