Following a traditional Comedy Open Mic format, comedians new and old — who want to work on new jokes, change old ones, or just experiment — sign up and get 5 minutes apiece to perform via our Zoom meeting room. Started during the COVID pandemic as a means of comedy self-preservation, these monthly Zoom mics still remain fun in 2025, are welcoming to performers the world over (we’ve had many different countries and numerous continents represented), and all performers who attend get a copy of the footage after. Plus, coming to work on your act at our monthly Mic’s might very well lead to a spot on one of our well-received live Stand Up Comedy Showcases, which we hold 3-4x/year in our DFPL Community Room (sits 75)!
