Discover a community that understands your journey with diabetes, offering support and guidance when you need it the most. Experience the strength of being a part of a network that celebrates resilience and provides resources to help you navigate your own health journey and help those you know.  This program will offer support for Diabetes Management topics: Healthy Coping & Eating, Being Active, Taking Medications, Monitoring, Reducing Risks and Problem Solving.

These meetings are open to all community members, including Dobbs Ferry seniors, and will be held on the last Wednesday of the month.

Monthly Themes will be:

  • November 26: Self-Care
  • December 26: Holiday Cooking

A co-operative program between the Dobbs Ferry Public Library and Diabetes Sisters.

Henrick Ureña, a 10-year comedy veteran born in New York City and proudly 100% Dominican, brings big energy, physical comedy, and brutally honest storytelling to the stage. His extremely truthful style has landed him spots at premier venues like The Bridgeport Stress Factory, Comix Roadhouse, and The Stand. He has also hosted for comedy legend Loni Love.

Our resident Performer/Producer, Tim has run Comedy on the Hudson since 2018 and Cult Classic Movie Night since 2016.  His latest on screen work includes supporting roles in Jeff Frumess’ upcoming feature My Shadow, Jack Wheeler’s upcoming short I Love Summer, and the starring role in Wolf Face’s Owen Is A Dracula.
