Baby Songs & Stories

For parents and caregivers of babies up to 24 months.
Join children’s librarian Gina to learn songs, fingerplays, and more that you can do with your baby. Each meeting will leave time for open discussion and connection with other parents/caregivers.

Teen Summer Reading Challenge

Log the time you spend reading online using Storygraph or on paper. The more you read, the more prizes you earn! Participating automatically enters you in a raffle for a big prize at the end of the summer.

Thirty two kids of all ages created this mural in collaboration with Scribble Art Workshop to mark the beginning of the Summer Reading Challenge. Use the tools on the table to add your piece.

Nintendo Switch Drop in Hours

Writer’s Circle via ZOOM (Registration)

Comedy Open Mic (ON ZOOM)

Following a traditional Comedy Open Mic format, comedians new and old — who want to work on new jokes, change old ones, or just experiment — sign up and get 5 minutes apiece to perform via our Zoom meeting room. Started during the COVID pandemic as a means of comedy self-preservation, these monthly Zoom mics remain useful, fun, and welcoming to performers literally the world over!
All who attend will get a copy of the footage with a link to their set via unlisted YouTube link and coming to work on your act could lead to a featured 5-10 min. spot on one of our well-received Stand Up Comedy Showcases, which we hold 3-4x/year in our DFPL Community Room (sits 75).
INTENDED FOR AUDIENCE 18+
