Want to make a difference in your community and get volunteer credit hours? Become a member of TAG! We’ll meet monthly to discuss your ideas, work on projects to improve the library and its services, and have pizza. Email teens@dobbsferrylibrary.org for information.

For parents and caregivers of babies up to 24 months.

Join children’s librarian Gina to learn songs, fingerplays, and more that you can do with your baby. Each meeting will leave time for open discussion and connection with other parents/caregivers.

Ages 8-18

Create a character! Fight monsters! Make your own luck! Develop your skills in this fantasy role-playing system with other kids just like you.

Each player will only attend once a week on either Wednesday or Thursday; your slot will be assigned by the library based on your availability, experience, and other factors. The club is spread across two days to accommodate as many members as possible and follows the Dobbs Ferry Schools calendar for vacations and days off. Please only sign up if you think you can attend most of the meetings.

Registration is required via this Google form. You are not registered until a librarian contacts you with confirmation and scheduling details. This program is full but you can still sign up for the waitlist.

Hone critical thinking skills, math abilities, reading comprehension, and more through the fun and exciting game of Magic the Gathering!

Game Style: Limited – Draft Constructed & Commander

No cards needed, we will provide. If you have cards, feel free to bring them. Instructions and mentoring provided – first time players welcome!

Ages 9+ recommended, some card imagery may be appropriate for 13 and up. Parents are welcome.

No sooner does Italian-American widow Loretta accept a marriage proposal from her doltish boyfriend, Johnny, than she finds herself falling for his younger brother, Ronny. Learn Python with Techno Chix! In this 6-week advanced class students will build off of what they learned in the introductory class and increase their knowledge of the programming language Python. There will be more fun mini-projects each week that are designed to help learn while continuing to develop valuable skills. There will be a final project at the end of the course so participants can see how far they’ve come!
