Ages 8-18

Create a character! Fight monsters! Make your own luck! Develop your skills in this fantasy role-playing system with other kids just like you.

Each player will only attend once a week on either Wednesday or Thursday; your slot will be assigned by the library based on your availability, experience, and other factors. The club is spread across two days to accommodate as many members as possible and follows the Dobbs Ferry Schools calendar for vacations and days off. Please only sign up if you think you can attend most of the meetings.

Registration is required via this Google form. You are not registered until a librarian contacts you with confirmation and scheduling details.

PROGRAM FULL. To be placed on the waitlist or ask a question, participants aged 8-12 can email children’s librarian Gina at childrens@dobbsferrylibrary.org, and participants aged 13-18 can email teen librarian Alex at teens@dobbsferrylibrary.org.

Join our Pokemon club to learn how to play the trading card game, do crafts, and share in your love of Pokemon!

Please choose either session A or B – due to high demand, each family may only register for one session per month, one month at a time.

Join Bach to Rock Scarsdale for an exciting Musical Fun Zone where you can:

• Try out different musical instruments
• Play rhythm and music games
• Sing and move along to fun songs

It’s Spring, and that means it’s WINDY–windy enough to fly a kite! Join writer Karen Gardner in creative fun that will lift your spirits, and take home a kite that celebrates your imagination and creativity.  Decorate a kite with your own drawings and/or write a poem or words that express the joys of flying a kite.  Then watch your craftiness soar when you fly your own original kite!

The Summer Reading Game is June 3 – August 14.  Earn points and prizes by reading books and coming to our events. Everyone who participates will get a ticket to our outdoor ice cream party in August! This page will tell you everything you need to know about participating if your child is between the ages of 3 and 12.
