Dobbs Ferry Public Library Test Proctoring
As a public service librarians at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library are available to proctor exams for students. Whenever possible , an enclosed study area will be made available to test takers; however, there may be times when only open areas of the library are available.
Fees: There is no fee for residents of Dobbs Ferry. Non-residents will be charged a fee of $25.00 per test.
Scheduling a test:
- Advanced notice is required preferably 1 week at minimum.
- Students who need a test proctored should direct the testing institution to contact Ned Canora at 914-231-3055.
- Any material costs associated with returning tests to the testing institution are the responsibility of the student.
- Any librarian may be assigned to proctor a test however, we do have 1 proctor who has been officially certified by The Stanford On-line High school, Onondaga Community College, Monroe Community College, and Lord Fairfax Community College.
Tests can be proctored during the Library’s operating hours Monday-Saturday and must be concluded by the Library’s scheduled closing time, depending on staff availability. Please be aware that staffing is often limited after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays. (Special arrangements may be made on a case by case basis).
