Learn how to design in 2D and 3D, then print your own snowflake.
Teens will learn how to use 2D design software, Inkscape, to create a snowflake. Then they will take their design into 3D design software, TinkCad, to make it come to life. Afterwards the snowflakes will be printed using the Library’s 3D printer.
The Library has a limited number of laptops so participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop. Please do not use a tablet, the software is difficult to use on those. Participants should download Inkscape, and create a free account on TinkerCad.
There is a limit of 8 people for this program. Please contact teens@dobbsferrylibrary.org to register.
