Cult Classic Movie Night (Spanish Heritage Month): “El Mariachi”

Friday, September 12

8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

We’re back from siesta! So join us and one of our favorite Hispanic authors Luis Paredes on Friday, September 12th at 8pm to kick off the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month with a Spanish Language/English Subtitled screening of El Mariachi (1992/Rated R/81 min/B-Action, Contemporary Western, Dark Comedy, Gun Fu)!

summary: A traveling mariachi is mistaken for a murderous criminal and must hide from a gang hell-bent on killing him.  El Mariachi is the first part in the saga that came to be known as Robert Rodriguez‘s Mexico Trilogy, followed by Desperado and Once Upon A Time in Mexico.

Stay after for our always lively Film Discussion, where we’ll share trivia and have fun prizes!
