Cult Classic Movie Night: David Lynch’s “Wild at Heart”
Friday, February 14
8:00 pm - 9:45 pm
In honor of the late, great David Lynch’s recent passing, join us Friday, February 14th at 8pm for a Valentine’s Day Special, with his Cult Classic, Wild at Heart (1990/Rated R/125 min/Romantic Black Comedy/Road Trip/Crime/Drama/Thriller)!
summary: Young lovers Sailor (Nicolas Cage) and Lula (Laura Dern) take off for sunny California, following Sailor’s release from prison, with Lula’s hysterical mother (Diane Ladd), a weary detective and a sinister hitman after them. During their journey, Lula and Sailor encounter an assortment of extremely bizarre characters, while discovering hidden secrets about one another. Full of lurid imagery and references to The Wizard of Oz. Winner of the Palme d’Or at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival, which at the time was considered a controversial decision.
