Baby Songs & Stories

Join children’s librarian Gina to learn songs, fingerplays, and more that you can do with your baby. Each meeting will leave time for open discussion and connection with other parents/caregivers.

Nintendo Switch Drop in Hours

Dungeons & Dragons (Waitlist)

Ages 8-18
Create a character! Fight monsters! Make your own luck! Develop your skills in this fantasy role-playing system with other kids just like you.
Each player will only attend once a week on either Wednesday or Thursday; your slot will be assigned by the library based on your availability, experience, and other factors. The club is spread across two days to accommodate as many members as possible and follows the Dobbs Ferry Schools calendar for vacations and days off. Please only sign up if you think you can attend most of the meetings.
Registration is required via this Google form. You are not registered until a librarian contacts you with confirmation and scheduling details. This program is full but you can still sign up for the waitlist.

HOST –TIM DEERY
Our resident Performer/Producer Tim has run Comedy on the Hudson since 2018 and Cult Classic Movie Night since 2016. His latest on screen work includes supporting roles in Jeff Frumess’ upcoming feature My Shadow, Jack Wheeler’s upcoming short I Love Summer, and the starring role in Wolf Face’s “Owen Is A Dracula”.

LINDA DeSANTIS
You may have seen Linda at the Comic Strip (NYC), Funny Bone (Albany), or all three Governors’. Shewas honored this year when she was chosen to preform in the National Ladies of Laughter Competition. If you did not see her, she was that chick in the parking lot trying to back that boat up and flipping you the bird.

Jack is a New Jersey based comic that performs all around the tristate area. You can often find him at the Dojo of Comedy in Morris Plains, bringing his unique brand of self-deprivation and absurdism to the stage.

Born and raised in Nyack, New York. Does comedy in the Hudson Valley and New York City. Cameraman moonlighting as a clown. Allergic to bees.

SHAUNA LANE
Shauna Lane is a New York City based actor and comedian known for her goofy, lovable characters and comedy. As an actor she has been in several national commercials and is in the feature film Creedmoria on Netflix. As a comedian she has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, and Sirius XM. Shauna studied acting with the legendary Wynn Handman and has graced the stages of The New York Comedy Festival, The 10,000 Laughs Festival in Minneapolis, The Ct. Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. She was the co-host of The Gone Girls Podcast from 2016-2020 and ran a monthly comedy show at New York Comedy Club called “We Share A Void.”

HEADLINER – YEMI AFOLABI
Yemi is a New York born comic who’s famous in Sweden. As a first generation Nigerian, Harlem native and Swedish citizen, he pulls jokes from his experiences abroad and as a New New Yorker. He has been featured on Comedy Central (EU), New York Comedy Festival, and South Land Comedy Festival. His act is defined by his charm, story telling, characters and larger than life act outs, painting punchlines throughout.

Nathaniel has been the exuberant Musical Director behind a number of DFPL’s Stand Up Comedy Shows over the past few years.
