Teen Manga and Anime Club (Registration Requested)

Join others to have snacks, talk all things manga and anime, choose our next read, and check out the anime streaming service Crunchyroll! No knowledge or familiarity with anime or manga required.
Manga are comics or graphic novels originating from Japan that are typically read right to left. Anime is a style of Japanese film & TV animation. Learn more and check out our manga collection at DFPL.

Raffles to benefit the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Library, featuring a Yoda Promotional Vinyl Poster, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Ghostbuster figures, the complete 8 issue run of Electra Assassin by Frank Miller & Bill Sienkiewicz, Graphic Novel Grab-Bags and more, will be drawn virtually throughout the day, with bigger ticket items towards the end of the day. see pics of items HERE
Tickets are 1 for $3 or 2 for $5 and can be purchased anytime during open library hours via appointment 914-693-6614. All sales are through and go to benefit the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Public Library. All sales are final.

2:30pm-3pm – “FairyCon: Make Your Own Fairy” – Make your own Rainbow Magic-inspired fairy by playing a fun Mad Libs game with Ms. Gina! Everything you need for the game, you can print out at home or at the library. (Kids, Ages 4-8)

3pm-3:30pm – Cosplay Contest Awards (All Ages)

5pm-6pm – “Studio Ghibli Trivia & Totoro Bookmark Craft” – Join Ms. Gina for a fun quiz game based around the Studio Ghibli movies and a quick origami-inspired bookmark craft that you can make using things around your house! (Tweens & Teens, Ages 9+)
