Diabetes Support Group: Self-Care

Discover a community that understands your journey with diabetes, offering support and guidance when you need it the most. Experience the strength of being a part of a network that celebrates resilience and provides resources to help you navigate your own health journey and help those you know. This program will offer support for Diabetes Management topics: Healthy Coping & Eating, Being Active, Taking Medications, Monitoring, Reducing Risks and Problem Solving.
These meetings are open to all community members, including Dobbs Ferry seniors, and will be held on the last Wednesday of the month.

Comedy Open Mic (ON ZOOM) (Registration)

Following a traditional Comedy Open Mic format, comedians new and old — who want to work on new jokes, change old ones, or just experiment — sign up and get 5 min. apiece to perform via our Zoom meeting room. Started during the COVID pandemic as a means of comedy self-preservation, these monthly Zoom mics remain useful, fun, and welcoming to performers literally the world over!
All who attend will get a copy of the footage with a link to their set via unlisted YouTube link and coming to work on your act could lead to a featured 5-10 min. spot on one of our well-received Stand Up Comedy Showcases, which we hold 3-4x/year in our DFPL Community Room (sits 75).
