If you have not seen it yet, come down and see the show of works by Neil Lavey currently on exhibit at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library.
A Dobbs Ferry resident, Neil is an artist and a teacher who works out of his studio here in Dobbs Ferry. He will be giving a guided tour of his works currently on view in the library gallery and in the Community Room on Saturday, May 27, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Here is your chance to ask a working artist questions regarding techniques and the inspiration for his works currently on display. You might even want to add to your own collection or find a special gift for a friend. His works are for sale and 50% of the proceeds will go to the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Public Library. Light refreshments will be served. Neil currently teaches watercolor, pastels, and portait drawing, for the Adult Education program at Dobbs Ferry High School.
