In honor of a month steeped in Irish history, we will be screening the historically significant and critically acclaimed Bloody Sunday, a 2002 documentary-style drama that depicts the events of January 30, 1972, when 27 Irish civilians were shot by the British Army during a peaceful civil rights march. The film provides a sobering and cautionary tale of one of the most impactful events in "The Troubles", a 25 year cycle of violence between Britain and elements of Ireland, North and South.
